When a man is faced with the devastating emotional,
physical, psychological, and relational effects of premature ejaculation, he’ll look for help wherever he can find it.
Unfortunately, with one out of every three men suffering from some degree of this problem, (over 30 million in the U. S. alone),
it has become widely accepted that there is a huge group out there with a big, red marketing target painted on their chests.
Smart salesmen know that these are guys who are easily separated from their money because they are so desperate to find a
cure.
Because of that, there have been a handful of cures
developed that appeal to the men who are looking for something easy and inexpensive, and one of the most common of those is
the desensitizing product.
These are products that come in
sprays, in creams, in gels, they’re even included in pre-treated condoms, and they are designed to desensitize, or “numb”
the nerve endings in the penis. They’re marketed under various names, and they’re available literally everywhere.
Certainly you can get them on the Internet, but for 40 years you’ve been able to walk into K-Mart, Wal-Mart, Target,
Walgreens, even your local supermarket and find them on the shelf.
The primary ingredient in these products can vary, but they’re usually a simple anesthetic, such a benzocaine or lidocaine,
and they come in varying dosages. Usually the dose is stated in terms of a percentage that the active ingredient comprises
out of the whole package. And as always, the question goes far beyond what they are, and what they contain,
and where you can get them, and how much they cost… The question, as always, is this: do they work?
The answer to that is… yes and no.
Yes, they work, because they truly do contain a chemical compound that when applied to the skin causes the nerve endings
just below the surface of the skin to be numb. These products truly do “desensitize” the penis. The
question beyond that question, however, is more to the point: will this cure your premature ejaculation, and if so,
is that really the way you want to cure it? Here’s what I mean by that:
At this point it’s only a theory that the cause of premature ejaculation is
due to having extra sensitive nerve endings in the penis. It’s only a theory that if you were to numb
these nerve endings a man’s PE would be lessened, or controlled altogether. As is the case with all of the cures
on the market today, if this were really a cure everybody would use it, and there would be no market for anything else.
The fact that these products have been on the market for so long and have not taken over and dominated that market is a clear
indication that they don’t work, at least not the way they’re supposed to.
This is due in large part to the recent discovery that it’s not the nerve endings in
the penis that cause PE. Thanks to a discovery made in 2005, we now know that PE is caused by uncontrolled contractions
in the muscles of the pelvic muscle group. That being the case, numbing the nerve endings in the penis will not deal
with the real underlying cause of the problem. So yes, the products cause your penis to be numb, but they won’t
cure your PE.
But let’s take it a step beyond that
line of thinking. Ask yourself a simple question: "Do you want to enjoy sex?” I think the reason
most men seek a cure for PE is so they’ll enjoy sex more, but will you really enjoy sex more if your penis is as
numb as a block of wood? Sex is supposed to feel good, and it’s very difficult for it to feel good
if you can’t feel anything. So is that the way you want to cure your PE? Do you want to
cure it with a cure that makes sex last longer, but takes all the pleasure out of it?
And while we’re at it, let’s go one step beyond that. Part of the purpose for seeking
a premature ejaculation treatment is for the benefit of your partner, right? But what happens to her when you
apply a numbing spray, cream, or gel to yourself? It transfers to her. When that happens, it takes all
the pleasure out of sex for both of you. If the purpose of treating PE is for you to last long enough to bring her to
climax, this product actually defeats that purpose, by numbing her to the point that she’s not going to reach climax
no matter how long you last.
So do these products work?
Yes, for making you numb…and a resounding NO! for curing premature ejaculation. Steer clear of them. Instead,
wouldn’t it be better to have a cure that allows you to enjoy the full pleasure of sex? Wouldn’t it be better
to have a cure that lets you experience all the pleasure you could want and still control yourself? That cure now exists.
It hasn’t in the past, but now it does, and you can find it at www.newhopeforpe.com.
